Edge Tactical Phantom Rescue are lightweight ballistic shooting glasses with a nylon composite frame and a shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens.

The adjustable nosepiece is made of soft thermoplastic rubber (TPR), and rubberized details on the frame keep the glasses from slipping around when things get sweaty.

The glasses are tested to MIL-PRF 32432-A, EN166 and ANSI Z87.1+ standards in an independent lab. They're also tested and recommended by the NTOA (National Tactical Officers Association). Vapor Shield keeps the lenses from fogging up.

Lens Options

Clear

The classic choice for safety glasses. Clear and distortion-free lenses work best indoors or in low-light conditions.

Light transmission: 85%

Photochromic

Photochromic lenses darken automatically in sunlight and clear up again when you go back indoors. One pair of glasses for changing light conditions, no lens swaps needed.

Vapor Shield

Vapor Shield is a permanent anti-fog coating with impressive claims. Based on our own tests, there is some merit to these claims. In lab conditions, the lenses passed the following tests without fogging:

• Exposed to -42°C / -44°F for 15 minutes
• Moved from -42°C to 24°C / -44°F to 76°F
• Moved from 24°C to -42°C / 76°F to -44°F
• Exposed to 52°C / 125°F with 80 % relative humidity
