Attachment

The laser-cut laminate PALS attachment system with half-step spacing provides a secure fit and adjustable mounting height. The pouch attaches using laminate straps reinforced with 1 mm plastic stiffeners. It can be mounted on belts, PALS webbing, and other compatible attachment systems.

Organization and inserts

Both interior sides of the pouch are lined with hook-and-loop velour. The included divider attaches inside the pouch to create separate compartments, keeping smaller items from shifting around. The pouch is also compatible with other hook-backed inserts. If you don't need the divider, you can attach it to the inside front panel to add a bit of extra stiffness.

The Size M pouch also fits the Varusteleka GP Pouch Padding in Medium size.

With the padding installed, the pouch fits, for example, a helmet-mountable night vision device. Just don't expect it to swallow a telescope capable of seeing Uranus.

There is a rear insert slot between the pouch body and the PALS attachment panel. When not in use, the opening stays securely closed with hook-and-loop. Using an insert slightly reduces the pouch's internal capacity. Tabs at the insert opening make it easier to open the slot.

The rear insert slot is compatible with, for example, a tourniquet insert and a knife sheath insert, single rifle magazine insert, or double pistol magazine insert.

Other features

A drainage grommet at the bottom lets water escape. Internal webbing loops at the top, two on the front and two on the rear, allow you to secure sensitive gear with retention cords.
