Made from a merino wool blend

Wool is super. Merino wool is even better; does not itch, insulates and regulates temperature better, and gathers even less smell. The synthetics are there to add durability to the sock.

• Material:  48% Merino wool, 22% polyamide, 20% polypropylene, and 10% elastane
• 23,5 micron 
• We only use mulesing-free wool in our products!

Want to know where the merino wool comes from?

Our sock provider Sukkamestarit has joined the NATIVA™system, the purpose of which is to be able to trace the merino wool back to individual sheep farms. Because of this, you will also be able to find out where the wool for all our merino wool socks comes from.

From August 2020, the packages of new Varusteleka socks got a QR code that you can use to trace the source of the merino wool.

Made in Finland

Our merino wool socks are made by Sukkamestarit (sock masters). The merino wool comes from different countries in Europe and the work is 100% Finnish craftmanship.

Wash and care

Wash at 40° C / 104° F. The wool cycle is recommended. The sock shrinks about 10% in the first wash, which is accounted for in the sizing. You can get rid of odors by simply airing them well, but when you need to, wash them inside out.
