A polo neck without the polo? Wow! Great for bikers to keep the wind from going down their and on to their chest or those who want the added sophistication of a polo neck under their shirt but not extra heat that comes with a whole polo neck sweater. Steve Jobs will be rolling in his grave.

if you expect the neck warmer to cover you neck with 2 folds like on the pictures and you are tall/have long neck (I am 2m tall and ~74kg)
Then I must disappoint you as they fold up the neck only just covers under my chin
and it does lose it´s tightness pretty quickly sadly, but throw it into the wool wash and it´s tight-ish again
but is definitely recommended, especially when combinded with a Merino wool Sarma thick Neck tube!
that way no cold wind can slip into your t-shirt/jacket, keeping you warmer
