Our new European-made Softshell for professional soldiers and demanding outdoorspeople. We set out to make the best softshell on the market, and this is it. It is very lightweight, windproof, protects from light rain, and dries very fast. The fabric breathes extremely well,  and the ventilation zippers improve the effect even further. With warm mid-layers, you can also use it in winter. On top of all this, it also looks bloody awesome.

  • Detachable hood with a very smart attachment system
  • Two-way zipper closure
  • Spacious zippered side pockets with cable ports
  • Zippered pockets and loop slots for patches on the sleeves
  • Adjustments in the hem, hood, and cuffs
  • Ventilation zippers in the armpits
  • NIR-compliant fabrics
  • Made in Poland

We completely renewed our Softshell jacket. The result is a much lighter and more breathable jacket than the previous version. Very user-centric design with all unnecessary crap removed. Furthermore, we moved the production to Europe to make it more transparent and ethical and to improve the security of supply.

The jacket has a relatively high collar and a detachable hood that is attached to the collar with a zipper. Furthermore, it has a velcro "safety" to prevent the hood from detaching on its own.

Pairs comfortably with a backpack, PC, and chest rig

In the design process, we made sure to take into consideration people who wear heavy packs, plate carriers, and chest rigs. The jacket has raglan sleeves to ensure that the extra load won’t chafe your shoulders raw. Furthermore, the pocket zippers are on the sides, which removes the zip pulls and such from the chest region, which might chafe or cling onto things.

For various weather conditions

Varusteleka Softshell is a very versatile jacket. By varying the layers, it works without complaining from cooler summer days to snowy winters. It is best suited for temperatures of +15°C to -10°C degrees (59 to 14 degrees Fahrenheit). The fit is generous, so you can add warm layers underneath for those colder days.

The fabric is windproof, and it has the DWR treatment that makes the jacket water-resistant. However, It isn’t waterproof, so it isn’t the best garment for biblical rainstorms. For heavy rain, we recommend using a Hardshell jacket or putting a rain poncho on top of this.
