US M65 Field Jacket, NYCO, Olive Drab
The legendary M65 jacket exactly as the US military made it, 50/50 Nylon/Cotton with a matte finish. This is one of those old time fashionable military things, great for rough wear on the battlefield, yet damn good looking as everyday wear.
The US Army has long since quit making these, but no worries - these new ones made by MMB don't fall much behind the real deal. The M65 was introduced for wear on the northern hemisphere over 50 years ago, and was still issued by the National Guard until just a couple of years ago. Up here in the north the M65 works around the year, just button on a liner when the weather gets cold. Unfortunately the liner isn't included with these.
- Thick, very wear resistant 50/50 Nylon Cotton fabric, with cotton lining.
- Zipper at the front with a storm flap to cover it.
- Four pockets, covered by flaps with press studs.
- A high collar to protect the neck.
- A rain resistant hood, this can be tucked away into the neck (never use the unsightly hood unless absolutely necessary!).
- Buttons for a separate warm liner (liner not included).
- Adjustable waist, hem and sleeve cuffs.
Size info
Sizes are given in centimeters, first up is user height, then chest circumference. If you use inches, divide the centimeter sizes by 2,54, or go ogle it for conversion websites.
Factory new, made by MMB. The fabric used in these is someting you don't see every day on commercial M65 jackets, it's veeery close to the original.
