Product description

The M3 is a Nylon shoulder bag, which opens up by pouring out three zippered compartments for fast use. US Army issue kit! One-off lot!

Meant for combat medic stuff, this bag is fast to operate and naturally designed for keeping your gear well organized. Although the original purpose is one helluva job, this bag will work in more civilian-like applications too. It could easily be used as a tool case or a general-purpose man-bag.

This soft Nylon case is divided into three zippered and one open compartment, which all are covered by a large lid operated with a plastic QR buckle. The compartment dimensions are as follows, starting from the big one next to the user, ending in the last in line:

  • Large main comparment: 29 x 21 x 10 cm (11.4" x 8.3" x 3.9")
  • Open, flat compartment: 24 x 14 cm (9.4" x 5.5")
  • Small compartment 1: 29 x 10 x 6 cm (11.4" x 3.9" x 2.4")
  • Small compartment 2: 29 x 10 x 6 cm (11.4" x 3.9" x 2.4")

The bag comes with an M-1944 utility strap, which can be clipped off if needed for something else. It's adjustable from very short to 125 cm (49") long.

Genuine US Army gear

Proper US issue gear in very good condition! One could argue these haven't been used at all. The example pictured was made in 2006.

You can use the M3 bag for anything you like but I use mine as intended. It has three zippered compartments and one open compartment. In mine I put meds and tools in the first section, the second section has all my bandaids and smaller dressings, behind this is the open section where I store a SAM splint and medium bottle of hand cleaner. In the third zippered section I keep my large dressings for large wounds. On the outside of the bag is a smaller bottle of hand cleaner attached to the handle, and a clip on flashlight is attached to the back webbing. Mine is a knock-off so you may not have the open compartment on these, I can't tell from the pics. No biggy, if yours doesn't have it, there is room for the SAM splint in the large compartment.
