Product description

The M65 cold weather clothing system might be a bit old, but the years have treated it well. These are the cold weather mittens of the said system, meant to be used or not used with woolen liner gloves, depending on the temperature. Additionally, the mitten has a separate trigger finger, which is a nice thing to have even if you're not intending to shoot someone.

This does not fit like a glove - it's meant to be a shell to offer some warmth and protection from the elements. Made of 50/50% cotton and nylon, with light padding on the back and proper work glove leather on the palm. The wide mouth features a light elastic strap inside it for a more secure fit, a cotton reinforcement for easing donning, and cord loops to keep the gloves with you because soldiers are like kids; they just lose everything that's not permanently attached.

The US Army says these are warmer than the liners (!). Additionally, you can pull all your fingers inside together if it's really cold, or stick your thumb and forefinger to the slots reserved for them. It's advised to use the trigger finger feature only if necessary!

Size info

The sizes are a bit vague on purpose, as these are pretty generous - they are meant to be just a shell over everything else!

Condition

Sometimes used, very serviceable at the least. Fortunately, these aren't delicate and meant for rough use.
