Liner gloves for very windy and wet winter weather that can also be used on their own when it isn't super cold. Part of The Heat Company’s awesome layer system used by mountaineers, polar explorers, and nature photographers. The system adjusts from slightly nippy weather to nuclear winter and Antarctic expeditions.
Combine them with thick Shell Mittens, and you can operate in extreme conditions. With its high elasticity, they offer you an optimal fit and freedom of movement.
These liner gloves are part of the Heat Layer System, which was developed for military units in Germany and Austria but now popular worldwide as multifunctional outdoor gloves. With this system, you combine different inner gloves (liners) with other layers depending on how much the weather hates you. This way you have one glove system that works in very versatile weather conditions and you get insulating air in-between the layers.
The first layer of the system offers 10-20% of the total heat output. Choose the liner according to the weather and what you do in it.
The second layer on top of the Liners is the super warm Shell Mittens that are made in different material combinations. The finger compartment zips open and folds down when you need to be able to use your fingers or operate touch screens.
The outermost layer consists of windproof and water-resistant pullover mittens that offer additional protection against wind and moisture. These triple layers are fit for the coldest and harshest regions of the world.
Fingerless gloves with a mitten cap. Made from fleece or softshell fabric and perfect for the transition seasons.
These combine the first and second layer into one entity. The liner and shell mitten are sewn together, which is excellent for folks that have a tendency to misplace gloves or those that just need winter gloves for one type of winter, cold.
Made from robust Polartec® Wind Pro® fabric, which makes them perfect for windy and wet weather. The material is water-repellent and keeps out four times more wind than conventional fleece. It is also warm, breathable, and durable. However, if you want to maximize warmth, Merino Liner Pro is your best choice.
They are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100-certified, which means that every component has been tested for harmful substances and the gloves are harmless for human health. Sustainable production: bluesign®-certified.
Conductive textile on your fingers allows you to easily operate your touchscreens.
You can wash these liner gloves in the washing machine at 30°C (86 F).
Originally, this glove system was developed for special force units in Germany and Austria. The system has proven itself in military use in the coldest conditions and is continuously being developed further.
