Sometimes things go sideways, and your car breaks down, or you otherwise end up in the middle of some frozen hellhole. In cold enviroments small mishaps, like engine failure, can cause big problems. That’s why you should keep a winter survival pack like this with you. It’ll keep you from turning into a meat popsicle until help arrives.
You can go far even in extreme cold with suitable gloves and equipment. However, sometimes things go south, and temperatures drop so low that it’s not just about comfort anymore—but survival. Maybe you are not dressed for freezing temperatures and cannot move from that spot. If you need to stay put until rescued, you can use the contents of this pack to keep you alive until help arrives.
Take out the blanket and wrap it around you. The heating pad is sealed in an airtight pouch. Open the pouch and pull out the warmer, which will activate once it comes into contact with air. It should take a few minutes to warm up, but you can speed the process up by putting it in your pocket. Don’t cut or pierce it.
If you don’t need to use it for the whole time, you can put it in an airtight bag and resume use later. The warmer will re-activate once you take it out again.
If the pad starts to burn you, discontinue use.
