A very durable, simple, and cheap work jacket, not at all out of place for daily use either. This "new model" is a more streamlined design but still very similar to the older one. Unissued Swiss surplus.
The jacket is very spartan, just the way working garments should be. Nothing extra: simple pockets, durable denim material (yes, proper real denim) and a good simple cut. First aid pocket on the inside, as is customary with "old-time" military jackets.
Made of 100 % cotton. The tags say you should wash this at 95 degrees Celsius, essentially boil it, but we think 60 or just 40 degrees will do.
The fabric will probably dye pretty well in case you want to tweak the color.
The size system for the jackets is the normal European type. Multiply by two to get the suitable chest circumference in centimeters. No different lengths are available. If you are up to 180 cm tall, the sleeves will be OK. If not, just roll them up.
In unissued condition, just stored from the '80s, when most of these seem to be made.
