Product description

Keeping your neck warm need not cost that much. This versatile, Swiss-made garment is almost 3 meters long, so you can wrap it around your neck, even if you’re thicker than average.

Features

The scarf is about 270 cm long and 30 cm wide and comes in different hues of gray. The material is thin, which means you can control the amount of warmth by choosing how many times you wrap it around your neck.

This nifty piece of Swiss craftsmanship is made of thin wool or polycotton blend. They might all be polycotton. We can’t say for sure. All of them have the same features.

Swiss surplus

These are good as new, and you should not find any storage dust or scribblings from previous users on these. The ends of the scarves have fringes, and the longer edges are a little frayed. The length of each piece might vary a little as they are surplus, after all.

Very very long, but thin scarf, wraps around your neck several times, or trails behind you like on a WW1 pilot. The material feels a bit odd, a lot stiffer than a cotton scarf like a keffiyeh/shemagh. Probably softens after a wash or two.

I am not sure, whether this "thing" is a scarf. Based on the photo I assume it is a "Bauchbinde" (German) which the Swiss soldiers wrapped around the belly to keep it warm. I do not own this product, but it was part of my equipement during the Swiss militairy service ages ago :-)
