Excellent gaiters for a friendly price - who the hell decided to get rid of these for this cheap!? Good ol' Swiss army surplus.
Long gaiters made mostly of rubberized wool (!) with heavy-duty rubber reinforcing where necessary. Donning these is pretty simple; close the zipper, pull the rubber strap under the boot, secure the front hook, and tie the strings at the top of the gaiter. That's it, you're ready to (st)roll. Pass one string through the zipper puller to avoid jingling.
For the non-zippered model we rarely get: pull them on, stick your boots on, pull the rubber strap under the boot, secure the front hook and tie the strings at the top of the gaiter.
All buckles & such are riveted on, and the rubber is very tough. Zippers are made by RiRi, a veteran manufacturer. Good stuff, good stuff.
Used but intact and perfectly serviceable.
