Product description

A large, green rectangular multipurpose rag. These are unissued or lightly used, so you won't find lovely Swedish salt stains on these.

These measure around 75 x 80 cm / 30" x 32" so not exactly a square but close enough. Expect variance because surplus.

Made of lightweight cotton fabric in a forest green color. Can be worn as a neckerchief or a scarf on the head. Thin enough to be worn with a helmet, military, or cycling.

Unissued or lightly used, but stored for a long time.

Every person should own a medium square piece of cotton. In the summer if your overheating you can soak it in a stream then wrap it around your neck or forehead or use it to cover your face to shield it from mosquitoes. In the winter you can use it as an actual scarf to keep warm and to protect yourself from blizzards. and while its thin enough to kind of see through you can just fold it on itself. It's literally a toonie too so I don't see why you shouldn't get one with your next purchase. I especially like how I can wear it over my nose without my glasses fogging up, just might wear this over my knit balaclava when it gets too cold or during the next blizzard just for this reason.

You may have read 101 things to do with a bandana but couldn't do half of them because of the small (22"-24") size of commercial bandanas. Not so with the Swedish Square Scarf! These things are huge without being too bulky. The fabric is solid to the touch but has a nice breathable weave but won't snag on anything like a scrim would. Like a Model T Ford, they only come in one colour, but my 10 came mostly medium olive drab and one in dark olive drab. All are very nice and I'll be giving my other bandana to friends and keeping these beauties for myself!

It's a €2 square cotton scarf, it does exactly what it says. Use it as a neck covering, head covering, face covering, bindle (or "hobo stick"), cleaning rag, all of the above. It's not the thickest quality fabric, but it does what it needs to do. Use it as a bandana, then combine with a Mil-Tec Navy Greatcoat and a pair of jackboots for instant pirate style.
