Russia's unprovoked attack on Ukraine is the largest conflict in Europe since World War II. This hook and loop backed patch is a simple way to support Ukraine's efforts: all proceeds from these patches go through Your Finnish Friends ry association to support Finns fighting in Ukraine. Ukraine's cause is ours! The Winter War and Ukraine's war share many similarities, and as we mark the 85th anniversary of the Winter War, Your Finnish Friends is organizing a campaign with the slogan "Ukraine's cause is ours," inspired by the Swedish slogan "Finlands sak är vår" ("Finland's cause is ours") from that era.

This campaign is held in honor of the 85th anniversary of the Winter War to show our support for Finns fighting in Ukraine, who are willing to risk their lives for European security. Funds will be used to acquire night vision devices to support Finnish volunteers' capabilities.

The patch emphasizes the Finnish commitment to supporting Ukraine in its defense against Russia. The patch features a helmet, used by Finns in the Winter War, protecting Ukraine’s trident – a symbol of independence – and to the left (western) side of the trident, a sunflower blooms under protection, symbolizing peace in Ukraine.

The patch is embroidered and attaches with hook and loop. Patch diameter is about 8 cm / 3.2".
