Compact 1.5 L hip pack with versatile internal organization and external attachment points. Hip packs are very versatile as is, the Kukkaro even more so due to the numerous ways you can tweak and configure it to suit your needs.
Internally, the bag features several options for organizing your gear: elastic webbing loops of various sizes, flat compartments, tie-down loops, and a loop surface for attaching hook-backed organizers.
The rear wall has a large flat compartment for larger items. A single row of 50 mm (2") elastic webbing is sewn on top of the compartment. It forms two smaller c. 4 cm (1.6") wide loops and one larger c. 9 cm (3.5") wide loop, which are suitable for small stuff like multitools, lighters, etc.
The front wall has two small flat compartments with tie-down loops on top. An 18 x 10 cm (7.1" x 3.9") loop surface on the inside front wall enables you to attach all sorts of hook-backed organizers, etc.
A large, open-ended flat compartment on the back of the pack allows you to stow away the waist strap if needed. You can also use it as a large belt loop if you want to carry the Kukkaro on a belt or the hip belt of a backpack.
PALS webbing on the side wings and bottom allows you to attach small pouches, elastic cords, and accessories. The webbing on the side wings can also be used to quick-attach the pack to the side compression straps of a backpack by using additional SR buckles or G-hooks. Buckles and G-hooks must be purchased separately e.g. from us.
"Kukkaro" is Finnish for a bag or pouch that is sort of a purse but not a purse, nor just any small bag either. It is often defined as a small pouch or bag for carrying small necessities and accessories, such as cash. By definition, a small fanny pack like this is thus truly the ultimate "kukkaro".
