Särmä Worker Pants in wool! Classic design from way back when men's clothing was both practical and good-looking. The best thing about these is the darts in the back and pleats in front. They give more room around the hip area, so the pants are a lot more comfortable than the skintight modern pants. We couldn't get the blue fabric any more, so we made these dark gray ones instead and from recycled materials. These are even more awesome than the previous ones.
Old Swedish army work pants are great, although the color is ugly and they simply are not available anymore. We modeled our worker pants after them and changed the cotton fabric to wool because hell yeah. The first color was dark blue, but the current is dark gray because the original fabric was no longer available.
We can't emphasize the importance of darted waist enough. If you have dingly bits, they are free from oppression no matter what your posture is. An added plus is that your legs have complete freedom of movement and your pocket contents are actually accessible. These are so comfortable you'd think you're wearing sweatpants. The extra space in the hip area is fine for the ladies too - it's a deal where everyone wins!
These have cotton reinforcement inside the waistband as well as reinforced cuffs.
The belt loops are suitable for up to 50 mm (2") belts, but for vintage aficionados, we have included buttons for attaching proper suspenders. Wear them up when working: hanging suspenders are a signal that you are off duty. The fly is also buttoned.
These are definitely in their element during the chillier time of the year. For summer, you should choose something else. For really cold winters, put layers underneath.
These are designed in Finland and manufactured in Estonia.
