Finally we have our own Operator Cap AKA Contractor Cap for all security and military operators and tactical action Jacksons. The design is quite similar to our other caps but it is made from different materials and it comes with a few operator-friendly tweaks.
Features
This is a proper war-spec cap. Available in the Finnish M05 woodland and M04 desert camo pattern as well as solid colors. At the front and the back, there is a 75 x 50 mm (3" x 2") loop field for moral patches, flags, etc. At the top, there is a small 30 x 20 mm (1.2" x 0.8") loop field for an IR marker. The fabric and the velcro are NIR compliant. There are six ventilation holes at the top. Made in Latvia in the EU.

I wear it almost every time when out for hiking. After treatment with a waterproofer spray coating or waxing it is really good, when the rain hits you. The cut, material and overall qualitiy is really good, I am very happy with it (like with all Särmä products I own).

Love mine. Wear it all the time. Have all the colors except the woodland camo as I have a boonie in that instead. Velcro is strong and easily adjusted. It only took a couple days to get that worn in comfort feeling. No one looks twice at the blank velcro either if anyone is concerned about that. Wear what you want to wear. Also price is more than fair considering any outdoor brand, (Fjallraven, Outdoor research, Kuhl, Windriver etc etc) will charge more, wear out quicker and is made in some sort of asain country) I look forward to more colors!
