- Light, summer-weight short socks
- 62% merino wool, 36% polyamide and 2% elastane
- 23.5 micron
The heel has a fitted Y-construction to retain the heel and keep the sock in place.
The joys of merino wool
Wool is an excellent material. It will keep you warm even when wet and does not soak in nasty smells or dirt easily, making it pretty hygienic. Now, Merino wool has two additional benefits compared to normal wool; it's finer, which means it's also warmer per gram and feels very comfortable against the skin, not rough and itchy at all.

So far (1 whole day of wear) has been perfect & just how I heard before getting merino wool socks they don't smell nearly as much as the cotton/polyester blend I was used to. Sizing was perfect in my case. Still need to see how they fare after long term wear & washing.

I ordered these just for the hell of it as the idea of combining "thin" and "wool" seemed kind of - off. So, got them and they looked to me like would easily stretch too much, but they actually don't. Yes, they do get fluffy fast, but that doesn't seem to impact wear ability or functionality. I like 'em!
