Thanks to Varusteleka, I have become a Merino Wool enthusiast. I've got the shirts, the socks, the hoodie, the beanie. But I didn't have the underwear, so I bought a 4-pack.
It checks off all the Merino Wool boxes: comfortable, doesn't easily retain sweat odors, looks good. And with these particular boxers, a return to something that for some reason is vanishing more and more from men's underwear. I refer, of course, to the Dick Slit.
Let's face it, it's much easier to do your Urinary Duty when you don't have to pull your waistband down, or try to maneuver Mr. Happy down and out one of the legs of the underwear. I grew up at a time when all boxers and briefs came equipped with a Dick Slit, and I was afraid they were becoming a thing of the past. So, bonus points for this feature.
Merino Wool is expensive compared to cotton, but it's far superior. Buy once, cry once.
Or, do like I did and buy four at a time, and don't cry at all.
