The Robens Outpost Low is a camping cot that is remarkably strong, lightweight, and packs small. It lifts you above rocks and roots in a way no mattress can match and it separates you from the cold ground. Very useful also if you're staying somewhere without a guest bed.
The Robens Outpost Low legs have polymer feet with flat bottoms to avoid scratching the floor. The design eliminates creaky noises when you turn in your sleep so if you have poor experiences with army field cots do give this one a try.
Having a camping cot in confined spaces can actually help fit you and your gear in the room or tent: there's storage space under the bed and the transverse tubes keep long items off the ground. Do note that the Low model has limited space, especially at the middle where the fabric sags under your weight. The gap can be 10 cm / 4" or smaller even. A backpack will be easier to fit below your feet at the end.
Each of the leg assemblies in the middle and at the ends has three tension settings to adjust the bed for your weight and preference. The weight limit is 120 kg / 264 lbs which is respectable for a camping cot this light. Improving on this costs you more than a few bucks.
