Awesome wool pants in fantastic condition at a dirt-cheap price. From some secret bunker of the Nationale Volksarmee of East Germany. These are getting rarer and rarer, so if you don’t yet have these, get them now before they are gone for good.
These kinds of old-style wool pants are simply the best pants in the world. However, since most folks don’t understand this, they aren’t made much anymore. And when they are, the quality is either shitty or the price is ridiculous. These are both inexpensive and of high quality, which is nowadays a crap business model but an awesome thing.
These are pretty simple and straightforward old-time pants. Fairly high waist like it should be. Button fly, two front pockets, and two buttoned back pockets. The pants come with belt loops, and there are also metal suspender loop rings for the NVA suspenders. Some of these have a year stamped on the inside, which shows that there are at least 1950s pants in this batch but there can of course be some others as well.
These don’t seem to have info on the materials but they are some kind of a wool blend. Earlier on we got these pants in 75/25 wool/polyamide, but other combinations are of course also possible. You shouldn’t shove these in the washing machine, and normally you won’t need to wash them much, simply airing them out is enough. If you do need to wash them, handwashing at 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) is the way to go.
The sizes are East German but we added the so-called "easy size" and the recommended user height in brackets. You should also check out our East German size charts.. You can find more information on how to interpret these hieroglyphs there.
These look unissued. Or they have been used very little on Sundays and the ironed and creased afterwards. Of course, some of these might be a bit wrinkled due to storage but nothing major. They are all clean and intact on the outside. However, the D rings might have some rust and there might be some small rust stains on the inside from these.
