ModButton Lite is a smaller and lighter cousin to the original ModButton. It features the same momentary-only activation and the same high-power cable and switch but comes in a slightly smaller package. This 4.5" variant is long enough to reach the device from the top rail in most setups. If you have a long gun where the light is a bit further away, get the 7-inch variant.
This remote switch supports the power delivery needed by the next-generation high-output weapon lights. Typically, older legacy switches reduce the weapon light output by 15-20% because they cannot pass the current needed to run current and future-generation lights. ModButton Lite has an updated plug design and improved electronics, allowing it to output at full power so all the lumens and candela can be put to good use.
The package includes the Switch Picatinny mounting rails and mounting hardware. The tail cap must be purchased separately. The SureFire® compatible cable lead makes it compatible with Surefire UE and DS00 tail caps. If you need constant on, get the SF DS00 tail cap. If you want to mount the button on an M-LOK rail, you need this M-LOK adapter.
