This is a true old-school application for Finnish military conscripts and reservists operating in crappy conditions where regular paper turns into goo. A waterproof notepad that contains lots of useful charts and other helpful military information in Finnish. If you don’t speak Finnish, now is a great time to learn. Fits nicely in the cargo pant pocket.
The notepad is developed by the Finnish military influencer channel Mighty Finland together with the Finnish waterproof notepad manufacturer Modestone Oy.
It contains useful data for soldiers, such as first aid and evacuation instructions, camouflaging guidelines, NATO alphabet, guidelines for assault rifle zeroing and shooting distances, MGRS guide, etc.
Modestone's limestone-based paper is 100% waterproof. You can have a piece submerged for months without it sustaining damage! It is also extremely resistant to wrinkling.
A really neat feature is that in addition to the usual pens and pencils, you can also write with metal, such as keys or bullets! We recommend using a pencil on these.
As said before, these pads are made from limestone mine byproduct waste, which means they are a clever display of ecological thinking.
Modestone is a prime example of Finnish innovation. Its notepads are currently used in law enforcement and military applications in Finland, and they’re steadily gaining fame in the big world, too.
