Magpul M-LOK Offset Light/Optic Mount, Aluminum

The M-LOK Offset Light/Optic Mount allows mounting weapon lights or optics at either the 11 or 1 o'clock positions on M-LOK compatible hand guards and forends.

Machined from anodized aluminum to military specifications, this mounting solution features beveled ends and corners to reduce snagging and scratching.

The Offset Light/Optic Mount allows for the direct attachment of the Surefire M300 or 600 series of Scout Lights; the rail has two holes to match the Surefire mount so you can omit the Picatinny claw to streamline the installation.

Naturally, the rail works perfectly with virtually any Picatinny light or optic mounts.

Can I install M-LOK accessory rails to something else?

We like how you're thinking. Sure thing! If you have a reasonably flat area to work on, chances are you can make it.

You'll need two 7 x 12 mm rectangular holes for the recoil mitigation lugs and M-LOK T-nuts, or just one if you make it 7 x 32 mm. The material thickness must be at least 2 mm for the nuts to grab before bottoming out.

The center-spacing of the two holes is 20 mm if you take that route. One big slot is probably the better approach.

If these measurements boggle your mind, it might be easier to just buy a metric caliper instead of converting these. For example, 7 mm is more than 1/4" but less than 9/32". It's a headache.

This should help you get started. If you're confused, choose something else to do while you drink beer. These aren't jobs for amateurs.

All hardware necessary for attachment directly to M-LOK slots on compatible aluminum or polymer hand guards and forends in included: Two screws and two T-nuts. You will need a 1/8" hex key to tighten the screws.
