Leatherman Raptor Rescue Trauma Shears

Developed with the input of special operations medics, EMTs, and fire professionals familiar with standard shears, Leatherman crafted the Raptor Rescue Shears with just the right balance of multipurpose features for emergency responses without an overkill of tools to complicate sometimes life-threatening situations.

The Leatherman Raptor Rescue Shears feature the necessary tools for uniformed response professionals to safely and quickly go to work in an emergency situation. When it's a question of survival, the Raptor answers loud and clear.

The Raptor Rescue is what Leatherman used to call just the Raptor. They are a bit longer and wider but a little bit slimmer compared to the more recent Raptor Response shears, and feature a strap cutter and glass breaker.

The Raptor Rescue also comes with one of two holster models: the Red ones come with the Utility Holster (belt clip) and the Black ones with a MOLLE holster. The holster itself is the same for each and carries the scissors folded or open. When the scissors are in the open position, they are positively locked into the holster and require pressing the lever behind them to unlock. Using the screw on the backside, you can rotate the holster to different orientations.

You may also choose to carry these in a soft holster. Many pistol mag pouches are too small for these shears even with the pocket clip removed.
