Here's something that works surprisingly well for being Italian military gear. A medium-sized duffel bag or sports bag, whatever you want to call it. Single batch: once these are gone, we are unlikely to get more.
What makes this bag unusual is its side-entry: when you open the zipper to the main compartment, the bag opens from its side. This allows easy access to all the things packed inside, while the bag is upright or on its side.
The main compartment has compression straps to keep the contents organized, the interior of the side pouch is even simpler. The bottom may or may not have a reinforcement pad but you can make one from pretty much anything if necessary.
Carry the bag by its handles or a shoulder sling. The ends of the bag have triangles for a sling but you'll have to get one separately. All load-bearing points are made of webbing and securely stitched to the fabric.

These are used, don't expect anything pretty! The feet on the bottom of the bag may be missing, plastic buckles may have been replaced with off-shade spares, and previous owners may have tagged theirs with prominent and poor handwriting. These are still serviceable and fill the need for a rugged military bag.
