Greece... the last place you'd expect them to use woolen uniforms. Well, they did. These are old-school wool pants, very much influenced by the British P37 Battle Dress. Made from wonderfully coarse wool just like their British inspiration. One-off lot, we expect to get no more.
These are the kind of trousers you cannot find today; straight leg, very high waist, buttons for suspenders and all in all a soldierly cut. Some of these have the classic British-style first aid dressing pocket on the front, but many pairs have had it removed. Some pants have fixed belt loops, some have those that open. We won't pick and choose. You should wear these with suspenders anyway.
These are most likely made from 100% wool. The type of wool used on these is ROUGH & TOUGH (those who have handled old British wool uniforms know what we mean), and will likely sand a layer of your skin off on a longer period of continuous wear. All in all, these are the good stuff, certainly.
You can machine wash these at 40 degrees Celsius (104 F). Drip dry only. The use of wool care products is recommended but not mandatory.
Because no one knows how the Greek size system works, we just measured the waistband and leg inseam of each pair in centimeters. Multiply the waistband diameter by two to get the actual waist circumference. Please note that the waist is so high you'll have to measure yours around the navel!
Greek military surplus. All in all the condition seems to be excellent, with some minor wear and/or well-made repairs and the often missing first aid pocket.
