Barely used modern hardshell rain jackets. These are French army surplus with the CCE camo pattern. These present an excellent value for the money: the price of comparable stuff is measured in hundreds of bucks, not tens. The cut is properly royal, and the quality is equally solid!
Features
Just a shell, like a rain garment should be. These have no lining whatsoever and are cut large enough to fit over everything else. These have the essentials and a bit beyond:
- Zipper and snap closure
- Roomy stow-away hood
- Two hem pockets (some jackets do not have these)
- Two hidden chest pockets
- Adjustable hem, cuffs, and hood
- Armpit zippers for ventilation
- Raglan sleeves, so no chafing seams
- Reinforced elbows
Condition
Nicely used French military surplus. We guess that the French army had more than enough of these specific sizes in stock and just let them go. The jacket in the pictures is from 2006, but there are also newer jackets in the piles. Some of them even seem unused!

High quality as mentioned by the other happy customers. The material seems to be thicker than the material used for the German BW raincoat. The pockets are better imho and offer more use. The collar close up to my chin and with a wool neck tube underneath it keeps the warm air inside the jacket. About sizing: I bought a 112 L, everyone who fits into a British smock size 180/112 or into a Bundeswehr Parka size 15 or 16 should have a no problems with this jacket. Enough space for some warm layers underneath, in my case t-shirt, long sleeve winter shirt and a fleece jacket. Result: Warm as toast and bone dry. My measurements: 1,85m or 6’1, chest about 120 cm or 44 inches, weight 100 kg or some 220 lbs with some belly fat for bad times.

I bought one to use for my job when they require me to work outside. It worked amazingly in the Washington state downpour. I even wore it to my outdoor range and stayed dry. It was working amazingly while snowboarding too until I broke my arm and had to have it cut off me. I loved that jacket so much I purchased a second one to replace the other.
