What's a sword without a portepee? This is the model used by the Finnish armed forces, all branches. A portepee is an accessory for a higher-ranking officer's sword.
Originally used for keeping the sword from falling off your hands, the portepee of course also has an aesthetic, heraldic, and rank-specific function. Nowadays it's virtually impossible to find a decent everyday portepee for your saber, it's all flashy parade stuff like this.
