you probably get the full 240 lumens for about 5 minutes, and then it starts dropping off. After 1 hour, both the Medium and High levels are only running at approx. 20 lumens for the remainder of their time...
I only ever wanted the Low level 4 lumens (which projects 9.5 metres) but... if you need the full 240 lumens for the full 8 hours, you're not going to get it.
Nevertheless, it is robust and simple to operate.
EDIT: I gave 4 stars because it suits my purpose (for wild camping) but I cannot issue a recommendation either way - the system automatically chose "not"...
