Thermoplastic rubber (TPR), or MEGOL, is a composite that becomes sticky when exposed to moisture (such as sweat). MEGOL details are strategically placed in the frames so they don’t slip around when you’re doing your thing. You’ll find these details on the nose pieces and/or temple tips of the frames.

Smoke Gray

These block unnecessary sunrays. These work best when it is very sunny.

Light transmission: 15%

Clear

The classic choice for safety glasses. Clear and distortion-free lenses work best indoors or in low-light conditions.

Light transmission: 85%

Vapor Shield

Vapor Shield is a permanent anti-fog coating with impressive claims. Based on our own tests, there is some merit to these claims. In lab conditions, the lenses passed the following tests without fogging:

• Exposed to -42°C / -44°F for 15 minutes
• Moved from -42°C to 24°C / -44°F to 76°F
• Moved from 24°C to -42°C / 76°F to -44°F
• Exposed to 52°C / 125°F with 80 % relative humidity
