A Shemagh scarf as Dutch army surplus. How cool is that - a Western military institution adopts a piece of Middle-Eastern classic headwear to its own use, and with a nice traditional "camouflage" pattern too.
Size: c. 110 x 110 cm (43" x 43"). The size can vary a bit up or down because apparently, it isn't precision engineering in the army. The shemagh is usually utilized folded as a triangle (i.e., in half). Then it can be wrapped around the head, leaving parts exposed if needed. Here is an illustrated guide on how to wrap the shemagh the "proper" way. Bandanas and capes aside, this can be used as a makeshift bag or a bandage - just use your imagination.
These scarves have been used and washed thereafter. Shades and patterns may vary and you may find the occasional tag of a previous user.
