Dutch Air Force jacket with a membrane and a detachable lining. Smart three-season jacket for an urban gentleman. When you have this slightly 80s style icon on, they won’t throw you in jail as a hobo. If you have air force-related fantasies, act fast, because this is a limited batch.
Here’s a smart-looking jacket from the Koninklijke Luchtmacht, i.e. The Royal Netherlands Air Force. These come with a detachable lining so they can function as a three-season jacket. The lining isn’t super thick and it doesn’t cover the sleeves, so this isn't a winter jacket. And since these aren’t that breathable either, they might be somewhat sweaty on hot summer days.
The jacket is made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The lining is 100% polyacrylic. The general rule of thumb for washing this jacket is not to wash it. However, if you have a pressing need to remove some oops-related gunk, chemical cleaning is the ideal option. The laundry wizards will know how to help you
The sizes are normal Euro sizes. Double the figure and you get the chest circumference in centimeters. These have a fairly generous cut, so you can fit a thick mid-layer. If you don’t need a thick sweater, you can easily fit a notch smaller jacket.
Dutch military surplus but in excellent condition. These seem to be unissued or used by some neurotically clean people. However, we cannot guarantee that surplus clothes are still 105% waterproof because it is impossible to check.
