Further info
This was sold to us as the Dutch Aviator’s Kit Bag, but the official name is Zak, Goederen, which simply means a bag for stuff. Probably not the most original name, but it tells you all you need to know.
The deployment bag has simple carry handles and padded shoulder straps. On the sides, there are flat pockets with a hook-and-loop and snap fastener closure. These pockets are meant to hide the shoulder straps when not needed, but you can, of course, put other stuff in there. One side also has a small hook-and-loop flap that has a window pocket on the inside for a name tag or other identifiers.
The bag has one large main compartment inside which you have a flat full-length zippered pocket on one side and a smaller one with a hook-and-loop closure on the other side. The bottom and the ends have stiffeners, but otherwise, the measurements change depending on how wide or tall things you put inside.
Condition
Used Dutch military surplus. These are in good, serviceable condition. They do have some small signs of use but nothing that drives you beyond the walls of madness. In other words, it is a bloody good bag, especially for this price. If you are one of those who want their bags pristine, we have such too. Check out the Savotta Duffel Bags.
