The Whoopie Slings are a fine example of simple yet extremely clever design. These offer an easy and clean way to adjust your hammock! The Whoopie Slings replace the original ropes of the hammock and work with basically any hammock that has channels for ropes at the ends.
Two slings are included, one for each end of the hammock. Length is adjustable from 40 cm to 180 cm.

Yes, these are amazing and work by sheer magic. But just like the other reviewer said, two pieces of strong paracord and a Midshipman's Hitch (could even be tied in advance) would achieve the same thing.

If you're good with knots and have the equipment/materials, you could theoretically make these yourself. It'll take you all of 30 seconds to find instructions to find a tutorial online. Personally, I think you're probably further ahead to just buy these.
...and they are worth it. It is a slick setup that makes tweaking the hang to make it perfect a breeze.
