A classic Boonie hat. This time the Danish version and in the M/84 camo pattern that suits many kinds of forest environments. The perfect hat for fishing, hunting, and all sorts of other outdoor activities. Very nicely used military surplus. The sizing is a bit special, so there are sizes for small heads as well.
This is a very traditional army-style jungle hat, in use since the Vietnam war. Fairly narrow brim, a band for adding twigs, strings, and other camo stuff, and a chin string. A nice summer hat for regular yard work, too.
The camouflage pattern is known as M/84 Pletsløring. It is a Danish pattern based on the German Flecktarn B. The Danes reduced colors from the original five to three to make it better suited for the Danish forests. However, it also works in coniferous forests.
These hats are made from polycotton. However, since there are hats from various manufacturers and years, the percentages differ to some extent. There are at least hats with 50/50 and 35/65 cotton/polyester. Wash at 60 degrees Celsius (140F).
These in theory have the European hat sizes, BUT these are a lot smaller. So, you should pick a hat that is about 2-3 sizes bigger than what's stated. (That means roughly an inch more to the diameter) Two sizes bigger might already fit but three is probably the most comfortable.
Danish military surplus. Most of these seem to be from the 2000s but there might be other decades, too. Some look completely unused, some have seen some nice use. So they are all clean and intact. The colors might be a bit darker on some of these.
