A gust of wind from the Cold War! Before the communists seized power and drew the country into Warsaw Pact, Czechoslovakia was a civilized nation with good armed forces. Even during the red era, the Czechs kept a small flame of freedom going on in secret.
The material is brass and may pick up a nice shine if that's your thing. Brass will harden from cold manipulation. In understandable terms: don't bend the prongs back and forth, back and forth. They can be annealed by bringing the metal to a slight glow with a hobby torch or one of those fancy modern-day lighters with a blue flame. At your own risk, of course!
