Bulgarian Bread Bag with a Canvas Strap, Surplus

A traditional, delightfully fugly bread bag that is just perfect for all history lovers, bohemian artists, and everybody who loves vintage military chic bags. Made in old school-Bulgaria, so the colors, details, and material standards vary, like they should on true Eastern Bloc gear.

This is possibly a newer version of the Bulgarian bread bag that we have been selling since the world was young, the mountains green. It is otherwise similar but these have fabric straps instead of the leather ones. It is pretty similar to the WW1 or WW2 shoulder bags where soldiers carried many other things besides bread. It fits about a kilo of potatoes and some other stuff.

These are made from some kinda cotton or cotton blend. Some are probably pure cotton, but some have been blended with some synthetic communite.

The color varies to some extent. Technically, these could possibly be considered greenish(ish) but some are darker, others lighter, some browner, others grayish, and then also the lovely Eastern Block poison green option. 

Condition

Used Bulgarian military surplus but in good condition for their age. . Käytettyä bulgarialaista ylijäämää, mutta ikäisekseen hyvässä käyttökunnossa. Some of these might be completely unissued. However, since these are decades old, be prepared for some dirt, frayed seams, rusty buckles, and other normal signs of use.
