These mittens are so furry, it feels like you shoved your hand inside a sheep. They are suitable for waiting in ambush and ice fishing—or huddling in your living room during a nuclear winter. Buy enough pairs for the whole family!
These were part of the British CS95 arctic clothing system from the 2000s before they switched to the PCS. You can put these under any cold weather mitten when your mustache starts to form icicles. The inside is soft wool terry cloth, and they’re pretty thick, so they also work well by themselves.
MATERIAL
Mostly wool, but there are probably some other fibers in the mix as well.

The hues may differ but all are in a cozy swamp monster green. In good and serviceable condition.

One of the best values for a surplus item I've ever purchased. Very warm l, very thick. Fits perfect under my Kryptek shell mittens. Also, as the item description states, size medium is more of a large. All of my other mittens/gloves are large and the medium of these fits the same.

“A Medium mitten will fit a person with a large-sized hand with some room to spare.” - Understatement of the year.
I have large hands (US 11-12) and the Mediums would allow me to wear normal gloves inside them. Cannot imagine size of over-gloves that these fit. On positive side they appear to be new and would undoubtedly be very warm.

First the bad. These are the size of oven mitts and will not fit inside any gloves I own. However if your like me, and keep extra thick wool socks just for use in my sleeping bag, your going to want to add these glove liners too. Warm, comfortable, easy to put on and take off. Can’t find anything warmer for this price
