Now here’s something pretty awesome! Very high-quality Gore-Tex hardshell pants of the US military. Durable, breathable, and completely wind and waterproof combat gear. So, also appropriate for all lovely rainy and windy adventures. Put these on top of everything when the sky falls and the heavens weep and your ass will remain dry. Unissued military surplus. Available in Coyote Brown. Made in the USA.
These pants are part of the US Protective Combat Uniform (PCU) system that came to be in 2002. The PCU system is divided into seven layers that are combined with each other to protect against various weather conditions. The basic philosophy is that air trapped between layers of clothing will create the best form of insulation. It is not necessary to wear all seven layers at the same time. You pick and choose those that you need.
Level 6 (L6) includes the hardshell jacket and pants. They go on top of everything in rainy, sleety, shitty weather. Underneath you can add other layers depending on how cold it is.
These lightweight and packable Gore-Tex pants are designed for highly aerobic activities. They are made by laminating multiple layers of Gore-Tex providing the thinnest layer and maximum strength. This results in breathable, lightweight pants that provide durable waterproof and windproof protection with improved next-to-skin comfort. Well, as breathable as a hardshell can be. They reduce the build-up of underlayer condensation during and after periods of high-intensity activity.
These pants are made from 100% Nylon and they have a genuine Gore-Tex membrane.
Sizing is quite ample because you are supposed to put this on top of your other clothes.
Unissued US military surplus. These haven’t seen any wars or exercises, just some huge ass warehouse. So they are in very good condition. Beyond makes some of their stuff in some galaxy far, far away. However, these pants are made in the land of the free and would cost an arm, leg, and a few organs normally.
