The Baribal Medical Pouch is suitably sized and well organized for carrying every day on your backpack, fighting load carrier, or in your car.
The pouch is generally well-thought and doesn't differ radically from the proven norm of IFAK pouches. Let's go through it in any case.
The top front has a tourniquet carrier: a tunnel to make the TQ accessible from either side and an adjustable shock cord for retaining it securely.
Below the TQ carrier there's a mesh pouch with an elastic mouth for e.g. gloves and two elastic holders for sharpies. The top has a Paracord handle for holding on to when opening the zippers – which brings us nicely into the pouch.
One half has a pouch with a zipper and two wide elastics on the mesh for two bulky wound dressings carried in a horizontal orientation.
The other half has a pouch with an elastic mouth and two pairs of doubled elastics to give the flexibility to retain larger single items or several smaller items vertically.
