Product description

Are you a fan of low-key sneakers? Here you have black sneakers with a damn pretty honeycomb pattern and grey details but without bright soul-eating logos. Austrian military surplus but in very nice condition.

These are very similar to the BW sneakers that we got a while back. Black sneaker with black laces without ghastly rainbow-colored logos. However, unlike the BW ones, these Austrian sneakers have some grey details on the sides and on the soles. Best used outdoors if you don’t feel like leaving racing stripes on the basketball court indoors. The tread pattern isn’t as rough as the one on the BW sneakers.

These really aren’t the high tech sports engineer’s fantasy sneakers. One shoe weighs c. 350 grams (12.4 oz), size 43. They are designed for grim old-fashioned full speed sports, not for taking cute selfies. These are also damn good shoes for regular use, such as walking the dog, going to work, and such. And perfect for teens whose feet grow faster than the parents’ bank account.

Size info

The sizing system found on the shoes is the French size commonly used in Europe. We have added the corresponding UK/US size after the French size in the descriptions.

Condition

These are authentic Austrian military surplus shoes. Some must have been snatched from the staff officer’s locker next to the unused sweat pants. And some have seen a bit more us, but the surface is clean, and none of these smell, in case you were wondering. There might be some wear on the sole patterns, and some warehouse dust on the surface. Most of these have insoles, some might not. Some also come with genuine military surplus sand on the soles. All of them are in perfect working order though. Sweet deal for this price!

Writing this Review because I got mine from the "source" as in I was in the Austrian Military for my mandatory service (i will not speak of that matter tho), they are great Sneakers, essentially bacame my everyday sneakers since over a year and i had sneakers that were a lot more expensive with lower quality. I would Recommend them

A bit narrow and sure a snug fit, but I like them anyhow. Get a new set of soles if you can.

Its not one of those fancy sneakers but it has the same quality(if not better) than your regular Nike,Puma,or Adidas trainers.best €20.00 investment i made early this year. Excellent ankle support perfect for those who are suffering from Tendonitis or standing over long periods. The low profile look is also perfect if travelling thru "high risk" countries where flashy shoes can single you out for pickpockets. Milspec quality to boot and probably made in the EU.
