This bright green shirt from the Austrian Bundesheer is basically a collared shirt that functions as a soft-shell jacket. An excellent choice when you need a mid-layer shirt that doubles as a light, somewhat windproof, fast-drying outer layer - and wish to pop out while you stroll around town. Get it while you can because there won't be more.
We suspect this was issued to some sort of civilian corps, or maybe they just wanted to be able to quickly locate recruits waddling around the mountainside in a drunken stupor. Because of the material of the fabric and the color, it’s great as a light, eye-catching summer jacket.
The fit proper for a shirt not loose like on a jacket. The sleeves are roomy, though.
These are made in various widths and lengths. The Austrian Bundesheer size is in the brackets with regular numbers for the width and Roman numerals for the length.
