A high-quality wool sweater. Made in Finland! The downside: it's a single batch of a discontinued model. Grab yours while these last!
A woolly pully is a very flexible garment. Especially a light-medium weight like this is great for traveling and trekking as it doesn't weigh much or take up all the space in your pack, but it provides effective insulation when you need it.
Made of 80% wool and 20% polyamide. The manufacturer recommends hand-washing only. We'd like to add that airing the garment often will reduce this need for quite some time.
We got these in two models, this is the more roomy one. The cut is relaxed and loose. However, the collar is not a gaping fashion thing but pretty snug. Below is a chart with the chest width from pit to pit and the center back length from the bottom of the collar to the hem. Don't read too much into the numbers but these should put you in the right ballpark. The Indigo ones are a slight bit shorter.
Size | Chest Width | Back Length | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Small | 52 cm | 20.5" | 70 cm | 27.6" |
Medium | 54 cm | 21.3" | 73 cm | 28.7" |
Large | 56 cm | 22.1" | 76 cm | 29.9" |
X-Large | 58 cm | 22.8" | 79 cm | 31.1" |
2X-Large | 60 cm | 23.6" | 81 cm | 31.9" |
The Arctic Circle brand is made by the trusted Finnish manufacturer Top-Knit. A welcome exception to the old adage “they don’t make them like they used to, at least not in the West.” A veteran in the business since 1974, they are also responsible for manufacturing the Särmä Merino Wool Sweater.
