Care and warranty

We recommend that you read ourshoe and boot care article. In a perfect world, you'd let your boots dry for 24 hours with the insoles removed after using them. Your footwear will last longer and work better if you alternate between pairs. Obviously, don't take this too literally and use common sense applied to your situation.

Clean dirt off the boot with lukewarm water and a brush. Avoid aggressive detergents, at most go for some mild detergent. Dry at room temperature.

Before the boot is fully dry, impregnate with a spray-on protector and/or treat them with care creme on a moist sponge. The treatment soaks into the fibers of the material, making it water and dirt repellent. Contrary to intuitive thought, this doesn't make the footwear less breathable: wet and dirty materials are the poorly breathing ones.

Lightweight yet robust mid-height tactical boots with a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane and durable synthetic upper materials. Designed for demanding operations but equally suitable for active outdoor use – in forests, cities, mud, or rocky terrain.

Features

The Aku Sentinel Mid GTX was developed for military and law enforcement use but performs just as well in trekking, hiking, and general outdoor activity. The microfiber upper is lightweight, quick-drying, and highly durable. The Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane keeps your feet dry (or at least drier) and breathable even in challenging conditions.

The boot is tightened using a quick lacing system that can be stashed in a pocket on the tongue.

The Elica® midsole structure enhances comfort and foot alignment during long periods of wear. The Aku Tenuta Grip outsole delivers solid grip on sand, mud, rocks, and uneven surfaces. A reliable, sturdy boot for three-season use.
