What are the best military boots?

It is impossible to give a universal answer to the question regarding the best tactical boots. The best combat boots are the most comfortable tactical boots, the ones that fit your feet the best. Thus, the best combat boots for men who have very wide feet are different than for those for women and men who have narrow feet. The best army boots are also not brand new, because they haven’t been “broken in” yet. You need to walk with them to make them comfortable.

Of course, the soldier boots must also be durable, or they will fall apart on the first tough march. And they need to be suited for the environment where you operate. Stay away from cheap “military style” boots that come with a self-destruction mechanism.

Do you have women's combat boots?

Yes. Combat boots are unisex. So, usually, the only difference in the tactical boots for men and the combat boots women can use is the size, and we carry a wide range of sizes. Don’t expect any stereotypical and sexist pink camo boots here. The colors are the same for everyone. If the military requires black combat boots, women and men both wear them. Very simple.

Do your boots come in various colors?

Some do, and some don’t. Black combat boots are without a doubt the most popular boots we sell, but black tactical boots aren’t best in all situations.
For desert combat boots, you benefit from a Coyote brown color, and brown and green military shoes might be good if you need the best camo effect in the woods.

Do you have waterproof combat boots?

Yes. We have GTX combat boots suited for very wet conditions. However, if you primarily walk in a very wet swamp or bog, rubber boots might be a better alternative. They are taller than tall combat boots and won’t drink water from the top that easily.

Do you have winter combat boots?

Yes. Finland can be very cold, so one has to make sure that feetsies don’t freeze off either. Regular uninsulated leather combat boots suck in winter use, no matter how many socks you shove inside. They are definitely more summer combat boots. So, if you experience proper winters, get yourself tactical footwear designed for winter use or felted rubber boots.

Are military boots good for hiking?

It depends on the boots and on your definition of "good". They are definitely sturdy enough for long treks, and modern military boots are also comfortable. The old-school black leather combat boots might not be the best choice for long hikes, though. If you’re not a fan of the look of tactical combat boots, go with modern hiking boots.

Are tac boots suitable as work boots?

Depends on the boots and your work. For example, regular patrol boots don’t usually come with reinforced toecaps that are a must in certain jobs. However, there are combat shoes that do offer this feature, as well as puncture-resistant soles, which will work perfectly well. Then the question is simply, do you need tactical work boots, or are you ok with ordinary work boots?
