Measurements

Made to UK sizes. The EU/French size is converted to larger numbers than usual. If you buy shoes based on sizes like 42, 45, or such,pick at least half a size largerthan you normally would. if your foot is very wide or you want a lot of sock clearance for winter use, consider even a larger size.

Materials

Upper: 90% split grain leather, 10% fabric

The upper is primarily made from leather. Leather and fabric shoes are both good as long as you know their differences and make the choice based on your needs. Leather makes the shoes very durable, but it also adds some weight. Fabric shoes are somewhat lighter and a bit more breathable, but they aren’t quite as tough. If the light weight and flexibility are your main things, check outInnox Profrom the same manufacturer. If you want a tougher pair with a bit stiffer sole for rougher conditions, get these.

Midsole: 100% polyurethane

Double Injection DuraPU™ polyurethane is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties. It makes the midsole lightweight and flexible.

Lining: 100% Gore-Tex

Boots equipped with a GTX extended comfort footwear membrane are waterproof and particularly suited for warm weather thanks to their high breathability.

Gore-Tex shoe care

We recommend reading ourshoe and bootcare article. You should not use regular shoe polish for Gore-Tex boots and shoes; instead, use the stuff specifically designed for them. Regular grease/polish can block the holes in the membrane, after which they won't breathe anymore.

Features

Waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane

No matter what you plan on doing, Gore-Tex will keep your feet dry. Designed with optimal breathability in mind, these GTX boots are a pleasure to wear even during intense activities and warm weather. Moisture produced inside the shoe escapes through the pores in the membrane.

Lowa Cross II® outsole

These boots have the Lowa Cross II® rubber outsoles made from an optimized rubber compound that gives you good traction in versatile environments in three-season use. The sole provides pleasant rolling properties, helping to prevent fatigue. For snow and ice, you want a coarser pattern.

LOWA DynaPU® midsole

The midsole is the leading contributor to the footwear’s rolling and cushioning properties, especially during long marches and hikes. In these boots, this midsole is made from very lightweight LOWA DynaPU foam padding, which retains its cushioning properties for a long time. The midsole provides stability and comfort thanks to the three-dimensional, slightly elevated Lowa Monowrap® PU frame. This special midsole design ensures snug footing and supports your feet on uneven surfaces.

Injected construction

The sole is bonded to the slip-lasted upper in an injection process. The upper is placed into a specially designed mold, and various layers of very lightweight PU foam padding are poured into it. This method creates very lightweight boots that offer optimal cushioning. The layers include carefully coordinated degrees of rigidity to create the best possible comfort.

Closed lacing hooks

These boots come with closed lacing hooks that guide the laces securely and minimize the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
