Concealment Wing

A concealment wing (sometimes called a “claw” or “wing”) is a small attachment on an inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster that helps the pistol grip tuck closer to your body.

The wing presses against the inside of your belt or waistband. This pressure rotates the grip of the handgun inward toward your torso. By doing so, it reduces the pistol’s printing (visible outline through clothing).

In short: a concealment wing improves concealment by making the gun less noticeable under clothing, especially for appendix or strong-side carry.
