Measurements

The socks are manufactured according to European shoe sizes. The smaller option will likely fit better without feeling too tight if you are between sizes. See the chart below for size conversions.

Materials and care

Materials: 68 % polyester Quick Dry, 18 % polypropylene, 4 % elastane.

Machine wash at 40 °C / 104 °F. These are unlikely to shrink at all, so the fit is correct even before the first wash.

L1 - Base Layer

The first layer of the Varusteleka clothing system is tasked with moisture management. A good next-to-skin base layer keeps you feeling comfortable in any conditions to do this it needs to be lightweight and effectively moisture-wicking. We use a lightweight merino wool blend for our base layers, a natural and very functional material for this purpose.
